For Water-Starved Communities: Water Today, Energy as Upside.

A two-level program for communities whose binding constraint is water security, not primarily waste or energy. Level 1 is Carbotura's existing ACM plant as built today — net-positive water is already a byproduct, sold directly, with no new engineering. Level 2 adds solar-driven electrolysis and fuel cells on top of that same water for dispatchable community energy — a genuine departure from standing doctrine, explicitly pending Architect ratification.

Communities that need firm power also tend to need clean water, often for the same underlying reason: aging or absent infrastructure, exposure to drought or grid instability, and a municipal budget that can't absorb new capital risk. Solar-only projects stall on intermittency. Water infrastructure stalls on the power bill to run it. Here, water is not a new capital project — it already comes out of a manufacturing plant that pays for itself on materials alone. Energy is the one true addition, and it rides on that same water.

Level 1 — the plant exactly as Carbotura builds it today. The community supplies manufacturing feedstock into the process; two outputs come back within existing engineering doctrine: Circular Materials sold globally (Circular Royalty™ paid back to the community, dashed), and net-positive water sold directly back to the community. No solar, no electrolysis, no ratification needed.

Level 2 — the same plant, faded above, with one addition: a solar-driven electrolysis and fuel-cell system sitting on top of the water output. Part of the water becomes stored hydrogen, consumed entirely on-site to produce dispatchable energy; the rest is still sold as surplus water. Energy is the only new revenue line, and the only piece requiring Architect ratification.

What each piece actually does

Level 1 · Materials

Feedstock → RevCon™

Manufacturing feedstock feeds Carbotura's existing manufacturing process, producing synthetic graphite, graphene compounds, and recovered minerals. Beneficiation Fee from the community, Circular Royalty™ back to it — exactly as in every other Carbotura engagement.

Level 1 · Water

RevCon™ byproduct → Community

Net-positive ultrapure water is already a byproduct of the ACM process, already within doctrine as a sellable output. At Level 1 it's sold directly, no additional equipment.

Level 2 · Energy

Solar → H₂ → Fuel Cell

Solar generation drives electrolysis of part of that same water, on-site. Hydrogen is stored and consumed by fuel cells to smooth solar's intermittency into dispatchable power — never sold or shipped off-site. Only the resulting energy is sold, pending ratification.

Selling net-positive water is already consistent with Carbotura's engineering doctrine — Level 1 needs no exception and no new engineering. Selling energy is different: hydrogen and the power it generates are treated as an internal, Island-Mode-only resource everywhere else in Carbotura's portfolio. Level 2's energy line is a deliberate, program-specific departure from that rule and requires explicit Architect ratification before any community-facing commitment is made. Figures on this page are illustrative only, not contractual — commercial terms are set under a Circular Supply Agreement (CSA).

Status & next steps

Level 1 is close to a standard Carbotura engagement with one added revenue line and can move through the normal Deployment Study process. Level 2 is a genuine concept — no site, capacity, or financial figures are locked, and the solar/electrolysis/fuel-cell system doesn't yet exist in Carbotura's engineering doctrine.
